There speaks the "Neville Chamberlain of BCFC".

BRUCE OUT

Did you know Neville Chamberlain was a Brummie?

Going off topic a little here, had NC shown more British bulldog spirit ala Sir Winston Churchill, then Adolf would never have been allowed to attain the strength that he did, and ultimately WW2 could, and would have been avoided.

similarly off topic, i think that's a bit simplistic - hitler had his masterplan and whatever chamberlain did/said was just buying time for hitler. and we'd have lost anyway if it wasn't for the yanks, wouldn't we?

anyway, sb out once the season has been sorted, whether we stay up or not... ;)

Losing any one specific game will never guarantee that a manager is sacked, so my preference is for the three points.

Anyway, irrespective of what happens in terms of results, I really dont think that Bruce will survive for too long after Yeung takes over the club. If nothing else, he is a football fan who hopes to sell this product, Birmingham City, in China.

Since we are having difficulty getting fans to turn up and watch the uninspiring football that Bruce serves up most of the time, here in Birmingham, I would think he will see that the product isn't going to be immensley popular in the People's Republic, where the populus are used to watching Man United.

Fans worried about Bruce's ineptitude just need to bide their time. The current Board's revolving contract present to Bruce is probably a good sign that they know he wont last long once they've left. They just want to look after him. If they were confident that Yeung would be impressed by Bruce's management, they wouldn't need to rush this through.

Its inevitable that one day Bruce will either leave or be sacked.

Yeung has himself said that he is looking forward to helping Bruce take the next step.. so maybe you are assuming too much in your thinking.

If this negativity is carried into the stadium what effect will it have on the players?

A question for those that know these things. what is the difference between Yeungs buy out of BCFC and that of the Russian gent at Portsmouth?? I ask this as the Russian gent funded those new players before ha had completed his take over.....is / was there anything stopping Mr Yeung doing the same thing.

Nothing stopping him putting in as much money as he wants right now.
The difference is;
1) The 'Russian Gent' had already had an offer accepted to buy out all the shares, Yeung has not, yet.
2) If Yeung did give loads to the club, he is still not on the board, so would have no say in how the money was spent. Me thinks that a guy putting a few million quid in, BEFORE he has control of the club, would at least want to have a say in how it was spent. He has NOT been offered a position on the board yet, so has no power whatsoever in how money can be spent.

If we can stop Anelka we have a chance of beating them... even if we lose i dont want Bruce sacked...

Give the guy a chance... dont forget we should have beat Chelsea and Sunderland... that would have put us in the top half of the table and eveyone would have been singing his phrases..

Give the guy and the team a chance... we need time to gel and play as a unit...

Were a lot stronger and have more strength in depth that 4 or 5 (fulham, derby, wigan, sunderland) and we will be ok...

Bruce has done well with the money he has been given to spend... if Ghaly and Mido had come off it would have been amazing but we still have one of the best squads we have ever had... so get behind the boys and support them all the way :banner:
